What kind of classes? Class size? Level of students? Work five or six days a week? Does the school use course books? What kind of syllabus do the students follow? These are some of the questions teachers need answers to when applying for a teaching post at an overseas school. Within our group here in Hatyai, we have a Primary school, an International Business College, a Technical and Commercial College, and a Language school. We have a variety of teaching positions available, so the type of classes you might teach would depend on which position is open at the time of your application. We increase the number of students each year (currently around 11,000), therefore we have an increasing demand for teachers as each year begins. The Thai academic year begins in late April early May.
Some of our teachers are long-term here, and we encourage prospective teachers who are considering joining us to contact any and all of our teachers to find out what it is really like to work at and for our school. To do so, simply email the school from this site and request a contact.
We have programmes installed that offer our students the chance to further their studies at our Malaysian Institute in Kuala Lumpur and gain a degree from a choice of recognized UK or Australian Universities, and we are also registered as a testing venue for a selection of the Cambridge UCLES exams.
