The Teacher Training and Development Department of our school is now accepting applications for our TEFL training courses throughout 2005.
This 4-week intensive general TEFL course has been designed and run by Stamford College and is intended to prepare a teacher to enter a class and effectively teach English as a foreign or second language.Teaching in Asia takes place in a variety of classrooms (large and small; children, teenagers or adults) and we aim to equip you sufficiently well to deal with the day-to-day requirements of a teacher's job. A very practical course!
A maximum of 6 trainees per Teaching Practice group.
The College and its courses are fully licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education. All training staff of the College are qualified and experienced teachers.
Full-time General TEFL courses have been run successfully throughout the year since January 2002. The fees for all general TEFL courses up to the end of December 2005 will be 27,000 baht and include accommodation but excluding utility bill payments. Due to unavoidable rises in costs, this fee will rise to 30,000 baht from January 2006.
We also run the Teaching English to Children Additional Certificate 2-week course in the second half of April each year. More details available on application.

Courses marked * have extra days (usually Saturdays) added to compensate for Public Holidays during the course when the College will be closed.
